Yesterday, Timothy Pilgrim, the Australian Privacy Commissioner declared that an investigation into Vodafone’s alleged privacy breach has been initiated. The inquiry came about as a result of allegations that Vodafone’s four millions users’ personal details like names, PIN, dates of birth, credit card details, addresses, driver’s license numbers and call records were at risk and easily accessible on the net.
